Sims 3 Gets High-End

Sims 3 gets its first stuff pack: Sims 3 High End Loft

From sleek televisions to contemporary furniture, modernize your home with this stuff pack! If you are going for a high-tech look for your Sims’ home, this is the pack for you at $19.99.

Personally, I actually enjoy this stuff pack, because my Sim is a little bit of a nerd, but he’s stylish. So, this is pretty much a win for me.

Happy Simming!

Sims 3 Create-a-World Tool

Posted By GameboyKnight on January 7, 2010

After fantasizing about the worlds we could dream up for The Sims 3 World Adventure, our fantasies have been met with the power of a new tool. The Sims 3 CAW Tool is similar to what creators used to make The Sims WA worlds if not the same thing that can be downloaded from this link here: CAW Tool Download

I’m going to be honest, I’m not good when it comes to something like creating a world, but I’m curious to try it. From what I’ve seen from just the interface, there is a button that allows you to switch from the editing of the world to editing lots and buildings in-game and lots can be adjusted to be whatever size you want. You can also add points to the “Beautiful Vista” moodlet.

Now, before you think that it’s some easy drag and drop Sim City copy…It’s not. It’s a legitimate editor, which means that either you will spend a long time learning what to do, or you already know and you are ready to work your fingers off.

For screenshots of what the Create-a-World Tool can do(and what EA may be releasing to us soon), click the following link: CAW Screenshots

Happy Simming!

Greetings, Simmers!

Hello fellow Simmers! I am GameboyKnight and I am here to help Art out with making some posts concerning the Sims 3! I  look forward to posting and sharing news with you guys, but allow me to introduce myself.

I’m an 18 year-old college student and I have been Sim addict since Maxis was making games like SimCopter. When the Sims came out, I fell in love. I’ve been pretty hardcore into the Sims, buying each expansion pack the day it comes out. It’s such a big deal that in my college, a few of my friends and I get together and hold Sims 3 parties in which we update each other on the life of our Sim personas.

My degree is in Computer Engineering, but I also like to compose music. I don’t really have a certain type, but I guess I could say I like composing Electropop. I also like to sing in Simlish! I know, it’s sad, but don’t judge me!

As a gift to The Sims 3 World Community, I will be making a short series on the life of my family as they travel the world in Sims 3: World Adventures.

Here’s Episode One!

Happy New Year, Everyone!

World Adventures Review

Posted By Art on December 1, 2009

Gamespot has posted their review for The Sims 3: World Adventures, with a high 8.5 out of 10 grade:

Upon initial consideration, it seems unusual that the first expansion for The Sims 3 would revisit a concept the series has already trod. After all, in 2002, The Sims: Vacation let you visit three different travel venues and introduced a few new (but minor) concepts to the formula in the process. The Sims 3: World Adventures sends your digital counterparts back on the road, but don’t assume that this expansion simply retreads what has already been done. World Adventures isn’t just a bloated content pack, but rather it introduces new ideas to the series, fun rewards, and great new areas to explore. If you’ve somehow overcome your addiction to The Sims 3, the expansion feels so fresh that you’ll be able to overlook its scattered flaws and devote yourself once again to the happiness of your little computer people.

Gamespot has Another Exclusive

Posted By Art on November 11, 2009

Gamespot.com had posted yet another article about World Adventures. Along with the article is a movie and a few screenshots. Nothing too new is found here, but still a good read as it’s more along the style as a review:

From what we’ve seen, World Adventures will have a lot to offer–new areas to explore, new people to meet and socials to learn, and lots of brand-new ways to play The Sims 3, along with plenty of opportunities to grow and expand your sims and their skills along familiar-but-different paths. The expansion will ship later this month.
